COVID-19 and dental appointment may raise some questions. Your safety is the utmost important to us. We are here for you although can’t be open for now. There are some important information regarding COVID-19 and dental appointment that you need to know. In our ongoing effort to safeguard the health of our entire community during this challenging time, we will be employing all efforts to protect patients and our staff. We have added any available measures to deliver highest standards of care in this situation. Newest Air Sterilization machines installed as well as UV sterilization units. Phone Screening, Before coming in Triage, extra extreme office cleaning and sterilization protocols. Cross contamination and Deep sterilization systems also put in place. More than ever, we are absolutely serious about everyone’s safety.

We Will reopen as soon as its safe to do so. We are here for you, please call, text or email in case of emergencies***.

Our patient’s’, staff’s and community safety and is outmost importance to us. To comply with current guidelines, Our offices will be closed till it’s safe to reopen for normal procedures. During this period we open time to time for limited ours for treating “True Emergency” *** (see below).
Patients must call in advance for an appointment during office hours and will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms and risk factors prior to their visit. Please note that our offices hours are subject to change.

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is characterized by mild symptoms: including but not limited to runny nose, sore throat, persistent cough, and fever. Illness can be more severe for some people and can lead to pneumonia or breathing difficulties. Rarely, the disease can be fatal. Older and people with other medical conditions (such as asthma, diabetes, or heart disease), may be more vulnerable to becoming severely ill.

Because the COVID-19 outbreak is a rapidly evolving situation, appointments will be tentative as the health and safety of our community is our highest priority and we will continue to evaluate our operations daily based on the public health information that is available to us.

If you have a dental emergency and are not an existing patient of our offices and we maybe can’t accommodate you. Please go to your nearest hospital emergency room.

*** True Emergency conditions for COVID-19 and Dental appointment:

EMERGENT CARE CARE in pandemic of COVID-19 and dental appointment : Emergency dental care is defined as potentially life-threatening conditions requiring immediate management or treatment to stop ongoing tissue bleeding, alleviate severe pain or infection and include: Cellulitis as a result of an uncontrolled infection compromising the airway • Severe uncontrolled hemorrhage (bleeding) Trauma to the Orofacial complex especially to facial bones that potentially compromise the patient’s airway Uncontrolled severe pain Uncontrolled infection
ESSENTIAL (URGENT) CARE, CARE in pandemic of COVID-19 and dental appointment : Essential care is separate from emergency care and focuses on the management and treatment of conditions that require immediate attention to relieve pain and/or risk of infection. These should be treated as minimally invasively as possible. These conditions would include (but not limited to): Pericoronitis or third molar pain Post-operative osteitis (dry socket dressing changes) Abscess with localized pain and swelling Treatment required before critical medical procedures can be provided Dental trauma involving avulsion or luxation of a tooth Tooth fracture resulting in pain or causing soft tissue trauma
NON-ESSENTIAL (ELECTIVE) CARE in pandemic of COVID-19 and dental appointment : Non-essential care is routine or non-urgent procedures and would include (but not limited to): Recall examinations including routine radiographs Routine debridement and preventive therapies Orthodontic procedures other than those to address acute issues (e.g. pain, infection, trauma) Restorative dentistry (including treatment of asymptomatic carious lesions) Aesthetic dental procedures.
